Resource title and description in English Selected plastic streams. The European Union's circular economy package and other EU regulations are setting the course for a Europe-wide circular economy. They lead to changes in the Austrian waste management sector and also have an impact on plastic waste. The report presents the EU regulations relevant to plastic waste. Subsequently, five massively important plastic waste streams are analysed with regard to their mass, composition and environmental relevance or waste collection and treatment: Disposable tableware, used tyres, rigid plastics, plastic films and agricultural films.
