Resource title and description in English Photovoltaic potential 2022 (roofs / photovoltaics potentials) Based on the aerial image data parts of the roofs were detected which are not could be used for photovoltaic. A raster dataset were generated consist of the useable parts of the roof and a solar radiation above 600 kWh/m²*a. This raster data were transformed to vector for maps (display). The inclination of the roofs was taken into account and different factors were assumed for flat and pitched roofs. The suitability of the roof surfaces was divided into three categories/classes. Medium (class 2) = 600 to 900 kWh/m²*a, Good (class 3) = 900 to 1250 kWh/m²*a, Very good (class 4) from 1250 kWh/m²*a.
