Resource title and description in English Air quality monitoring sites in Austria. The report "Air Quality Monitoring Stations in Austria" provides information on the location of all air quality monitoring stations in Austria, the pollutants and meteorological parameters measured, and the measuring instruments used, as of January 2020. Measuring sites for gaseous air pollutants, particulate matter, wet deposition and dust deposition as well as measuring sites for meteorological parameters and ultraviolet radiation are described. In addition to measuring stations operated on the basis of the Immission Control Act - Air and the Ozone Act, research measuring stations and measuring stations for operational immission control plans are also listed. The air quality monitoring networks in the federal provinces are operated by the offices of the provincial governments. In addition, the Federal Environment Agency operates the national background monitoring network.
