Resource title and description in English Environmental Impact Assessment NPP Poland. Expert opinion. The construction of the first nuclear power plant (NPP) is planned in Poland. Its expected capacity is up to 3,750 MWe and consist of three units. Two sites are being considered, both in the Pomeranian Voivodeship on the Baltic coast. The first reactor unit is scheduled for operation in about 10 years and the other two units in 11 and 12 years, respectively. For the second site alternative, the start of operation for the first reactor is planned in 11 years and for the other two in 16 and 17 years.
