Resource title and description in English Air quality measurements in Austria 2022 - annual report. The annual report documents the results of the air quality measurements of the federal states and the Federal Environment Agency for the year 2022. The measurement results show: The lowest pollution levels to date were measured for the pollutants NO2, CO and B(a)P. Levels of PM10, PM2.5 and SO2 were slightly higher than in recent years, but significantly lower than in recent decades. Ozone pollution was slightly below the level of recent decades. The IG-L limit values for nitrogen dioxide were exceeded at six measuring points; the sum of the limit value and tolerance margin was complied with. The limit values for SO2 and dust precipitation (including lead) were exceeded in isolated cases in accordance with the IG-L. The target values for ozone were exceeded in large parts of Austria.
