Resource title and description in English The Zöbelboden monitoring station in the Reichraminger Hintergebirge in Upper Austria is one of the largest and best-equipped monitoring and research sites in Austria. The Federal Environment Agency, supported by the Kalkalpen National Park and the Austrian Federal Forests, has been conducting ecosystem-based environmental monitoring there for 30 years, which allows unique insights into the effects of air pollutant loads and climate change on mountain forest ecosystems in the Alps.
