Resource title and description in English Emission trends 1990-2019. In the report "Emission trends 1990-2019", the Federal Environment Agency provides an overview of anthropogenic, i.e. man-made, air pollutant emissions in Austria. dust - total suspended particulate matter and fine dust - ozone precursors - nitrogen oxides, volatile hydrocarbons excluding methane and carbon monoxide - acidifying and over-fertilising air pollutants - sulphur dioxide, ammonia and nitrogen oxides - heavy metals - cadmium, mercury and lead - persistent organic pollutants Trends and main polluters are analysed and current emission data are compared with mandatory environmental targets. The data basis is the results of the Austrian Air Pollutant Inventory, which is compiled annually by the Federal Environment Agency.
