Information on metadata according to BVergG 2018
As of March 1, 2019, all contracting authorities and other contracting entities required to apply provisions of the Federal Public Procurement Act (Section 4 BVergG 2018) must make the so-called metadata of core data on their award procedures available on data.gv.at.
Note: If you use a service provider for your award procedures, the service provider will take care of this entry as it acts as the awarding body.
If you publish your award procedures independently in accordance with BVergG 2018 or BVergGKonz 2018, you have two options for generating the metadata record on data.gv.at:
- Via the corporate service portal (
www.usp.gv.at
):- Registration of your organization at USP(www.usp.gv.at) is a prerequisite.
- After successful login, your organization’s USP administrator must assign you the appropriate procedural right (eProcurement metadata creator) via the USP administration interface.
- After assigning the role (and possibly waiting 1-2 minutes), the procedure should now appear in your “My USP” box.
- Clicking on “eProcurement Tender Search” will take you directly to the “My Metadata” section of the Tender Search
- Using the “Create new metadata record” button, you can now fill in the required fields of the metadata form.
- Then click on “Save” to upload your metadata to data.gv.at. At the same time, the record is saved under “My metadata” and can be retrieved and modified as needed.
When creating the metadata record via the USP, you have to fill in four fields, the rest will be filled in automatically for you by the USP and then transferred to data.gv.at.
Note: If your company is not yet registered, the USP Service Center can help you by calling 050 233 733 at local rates.
For specific questions about publishing your metadata at USP, please contact us at support@ausschreibungen.usp.gv.at.
- Directly on data.gv.at
- If your organization already has access to data.gv.at via the portal network, please log in to data.gv.at via your root portal and create a new record for your organization.
